APPLYING TO SWATH

SWATH (Summer Workshop on African American Texas History) is a history workshop for K-16 teachers and professionals of all areas of expertise who wish to learn and share what they learn about African American Texas History. SWATH 2014 is now closed. However, the 2015 applicaton cycle begins September 1 and closes December 31, 2014.  

 

TO PARTICIPATE:  Email a letter of application to the director stating what you hope to gain from the workshop and how you plan to use the information.

 

TO PRESENT:  Send an email providing your name, institutional affiliation, the title of your presentation, and a 50-100 word abstract detailing the pedagogical and historical significance of your contribution.
